Former Adult Pastor Launches ‘Christian Cannabis’ 3

Craig Gross, XXXChurch.com’s founder, an adult pastor and entrepreneur, announced the launch, Christian Cannabis, his personal brand, on January 27th, that would have CBD-rich cannabis products.

This brand will provide strains with high CBD and low THC, specially created for the brand’s consumers. It will educate them about health benefits of this plant and how it can be used spiritually.

Craig Gross believes that, in addition to the emotional and physical effects, cannabis has the potential to tap into a spiritual connection.

Jeanette Gross, Craig’s wife and Christian Cannabis Co-founder, also issued a statement explaining that cannabis was not on her radar until she was diagnosed with cancer. “I was confronted with one of the most difficult decisions of my life: should I trust plant medicine, which I had always assumed would alter my mind and make me feel out of touch with reality, or pharmaceutical drugs, which I knew would?” said Jeanette Gross, co-founder of Christian Cannabis.

“I turned to cannabis, and it not only relieved my physical pain, but it also helped me open up spiritually.” It gave me a way to cope with the depression, anxiety, and waves of emotions that come with being diagnosed with cancer, and it was crucial to my recovery.”

The logo of the brand is a dove in flight with a cannabis leaf. It will sell pre-rolls as well as a patch, topical spray, cream, balm, fruit chews, oil, and tincture. These products are said to contain biblical ingredients like myrrh and frankincense.

Craig announced the launch of the Christian Cannabis brand at Coachella in April 2019—the same year that both the religious holiday of Easter and 420 fell on the same day. He described his project goals in a YouTube video created for the launch.

In a June 2019 interview with DOPE Magazine, he went into great detail about his inspirations for the idea, of his discovery of cannabis at the age of 37, his attitude towards sex addiction, and the discrimination faced by Christians on consuming cannabis.
